Do you think Trump will complete his term?

Do you think the Trump admin will last 4 years? Doesn't he have other lawsuits pending against him?

I'm not pro- or anti-trump. Just asking about the new Trump admin's prospects.

Like him or hate him, he did do this to the professional pollsters and pundits during Election Night:

8 Years Of Trump Nation is my prediction. :thumbsup

crockett 01-01-2017 05:23 PM

There is no way.. Trump simply can not contain himself and it's pretty clear the job is already starting to wear on him. He's now completely dodged the press on two occasions and he's not even in office yet.

It's much easier to rant about retarded stuff on Twitter, than face the job and the responsibilities. I just hope to fuck when ever he's impeached, someone stands up and says "You're Fired"..

Trump is like George Bush Jr, probably didn't expect to get there and doesn't actually grasp the job he just took. Bush Jr had 9/11 as his wake the fuck up moment.. Let's hope it doesn't take something like that to make Trump understand this isn't just a big joke, it's people's lives. I have little faith in anything waking him the fuck up and being responsible though. He's clearly a child that has never really had to be a man.

He probably will, but I won't be shocked if he doesn't. If things go badly for him and the midterm elections go poorly for the Republicans I won' be shocked if Trump suddenly steps down due to illness or for some other reason and hands it off to Pence.

If he thinks the media scrutinizes him and now, wait until he moves into the White House and every move he makes is scrutinized.

Rochard 01-01-2017 07:31 PM

I do not think Trump will stay in office four years. If he does not resign, there is a good chance he will be impeached.

Trump has zero experience in politics - he has no clue of what he is doing. And he doesn't seem to listen to anyone.

Elizabeth Warren is already working on plans to impeach him. I want to say that I doubt he will last a year, but I was terribly wrong about him in the past, so who knows. I just know that if Liz takes him down, I'll jump out of my skin and applaud.

asianseekerz 01-01-2017 08:48 PM

Bladewire 01-01-2017 08:59 PM

Trump allows his ego to make things much more difficult for himself than need be. If Trump changes after being sworn in he will likely complete his term.

If Trump continues to let his ego pick needless fights, and continues to be vengeful, and continues to be greedy and continues to put himself before the country, he wont last his term.

Trump is a lot like GWB Jr. Trump and GWB Jr are rich boys that never needed for anything, part of the 1% born and bred, and just being the figurehead of the party letting their VP's do all the work.

Trump is different than GWB Jr. in more important negative ways that can't be reconciled when he's POTUS. Greed, ego, self first, multiple personalities, siding with the enemy & attacking the integrity of our national intelligence agencies.

You never know which Trump is going to make the final decision on ANYTHING, and others in power are going to tire of that very quickly!

A bigger question and the answer is far more important is.

Will Americans realise that if they keep voting for the same people nothing will change?

not sure what coverage you followed but IMO its safe to say he weathered the worst fires the liberal media could throw at a person. They fucking tossed the kitchen sink at him, he never melted down. the media did.

Trump cares he cares a lot, about himself! Everything he does will be for self gratification, when people finally realize that the whole point of his bid for power is self aggrandizement, only then will he leave or be removed from power, i just hope that is before he does too much irreparable damage to this great country. :error

you could apply that description to every president this country ever had. in fact, it requires a ginormous ego just to run, & be willing to put up with the scrutiny.

name a presidential candidate without a huge ego, & you will name someone that can't win elections.

He's been scrutinized and many of the things he's done would cause him to be impeached in office. He is a crook who fucks small business owners out of their money and ties them up in the legal system. His inauguration night he's already sold $400k worth of access time to the POTUS. You bitched about Clinton doing this, but now it's ok with Trump. He's more establishment than Hillary, Obama or Jeb Bush put together, but you ignore this..

People like you are so brain dead you don't care because he's your guy. Meanwhile you will bash Obama or Hillary endlessly for every little thing they do, while turning a blind eye to Trump as if he's a holy saint. There is a word for your behavior, it's called hypocrisy. All your bitching about Obama and now you just give Trump free passes. You are nothing more than a partisan hack. You Robbie, Vendillza, Baddog all you guys who endlessly bitched about Obama at every turn now sit quietly as Trump does worse. You are all hacks.. None of you care about this country, only about your team..

George Bush Jr, was a rich daddy's boy who liked to party. He spent his entire life with his dad pulling strings to get him places and contacts. I won't say he was a dunce more than he was a haphazard clown. He was obviously fairly smart but he was an adult who never really grew up. (very common with elite rich snobs)

Bush Jr was forced to grow up when 9/11 happened. The problem with Bush Jr wasn't that he was some evil guy trying to fuck people over, it was he had all his daddies men around him who were. Bush Jr's admin was stacked to the hilt with ex Reagan/Bush Sr neocon war mongers. They pulled Jr's strings and ran the show, because Jr didn't have the understanding of what was happening around him.

It wasn't that he wasn't smart, he just wasn't capable to understand the depth of what was happening around him. He eventually started waking up and that's why his Admin started changing a lot in his second term..

Trump is much the same, in the fact he's a rich snob whom never had to grow up. The problem with Trump is he's an egomaniac who actually thinks he's smarter than he is. He idolizes dictators, I mean he's openly said this. Many of Trump actions are that of classic case dictators.

He's trying to make him self be the "all knowing dictator of info".. Look at this Russian thing as prime example. He is publicly telling Americans/The world to discredit the FBI & CIA and only trust him because he knows stuff. That is classic case dictator moves..

Trump is extremely dangerous, specially if people do not question him but just ride along.. That's how dictatorship happen.. It wont happen here, but in a country with less checks and balances a person like Trump with his little cult following could easily take over a govt.

He is a danger to the freedoms of this country and has to be kept in check. I'm certain Trump will stop having fun and will be looking for his way out after about a year or less.. It will of course not be his fault he will play the victim and his little cult will go rah rah further dividing this country.. Trump will harm this country greatly before he leaves office, but he wont make it a second term..

Your comments about American politics are always silly. You can argue all citizens of all countries are "voting for the same people".

At the same time we need to stop this talk about "change". Do we really need change? Unemployment in the US is at 4.6%. Unemployment has been dropped in half in the past six years. Do we really want that to change? Do we really want unemployment to go back up again?

This is like telling a bible thumper that the bible is just a book.

Facts mean nothing.

Reality means nothing.

The more you challenge them with facts & reality, the more irrationally they dig in, like a blood thirsty tick.

No most aren't complete idiots running around in the real world. They usually only become total fucking crazies when they start talking politics.

I know more than a few "hard core Trumplets" in real life. They look act like normal people but then they start talking politics and they go bat shit crazy. Like Obama a hahahahahaha, Hillary's the devil.. ect..ect.. literally the same kind of dribble you see out of guys like JoushaMo and friends.. (it's the exact dribble) None of them are ever "original" in their thinking it's always just regurgitated bullshit from right wing news. Just like it is here on GFY, they never have any original thoughts.

I'm sure these GFY Trumplets are not total idiots in real life, they just become them when arguing about politics. Politics is their religion, so it's like trying to tell a Muslim there is no alla ackbar or a christian there is no Jesus. Trump is their jesus messiah. There is no convening them anything he will ever do is wrong because he cant do any wrong in their minds because they don't think with logic but rather emotion.

These same people did the same thing with Bush when he was president. They praised his every move no matter what. They didn't turn on Bush until their Trump Messiah told them he was bad. Now they pretend like they always hated him..

but thats not enough huh?

dont like his minimum wage position.

he has no solution to the uninsurability of millions of americans in the healthcare system (the correct answer is single payer or, short of that, medicare expansion to the uninsurable so the insurance market is affordable)

i wish his SCOTUS nominees would be more centrist. but he had to throw bones to the religious right to get those rust belt votes that hilary ended up losing the election on.

& he sounds like a democrat on spending, while cutting taxes? what smoke will he blow when he doesnt balance the budget? hes supposed to be a cost cutter. cutting bureaucracy to pay for nukes is not my bag, baby.
