The term, "Fake Nick" makes no sense..
 

Fake nick as in fake nickname... - first off, a nickname is not your "real" name, thus a nickname is your "fake" name. To say Fake Nick is basically saying your fake fake name - which is either paradoxical or redundant - not sure which right now as I don't really feel like thinking TOO hard lol.

I thought a fake nick was when you make a new name and act like someone you are not. Like when people make names to bash others or a business. Nobody knows who the person is and they will not say either. At least that is what it seems like. I guess you could call it something else but fake nick works and we all know what it means.
