GOP next disaster at work.. selling national parks

I posted about this probably 2 years ago.. The GFY Republicans all claimed it was bullshit, but anyone that has kept track knows what's going on..

Republicans in congress have been trying for several years to sell our national parks. Basically their plan is to push the parks into state control. The states can not afford to keep the parks therefor they will be forced to sell them to the highest bidders.

They are trying to start with national forests and other "lessor" national parks, like national forests, protect wildlife land ect..ect.... ie no way they can try to sell Yellowstone right off the bat but they can start with things like Ocala national forest, Black hills national forest, ect..ect..

Rob Bishop-led rules change would make it easier to sell off federal land in Utah and elsewhere | The Salt Lake Tribune

This is now going to be happening unless people fight back.. Once again Republicans fucking Americans for the benefit of big business under the guise of "state rights"..

Trump claimed he's against it previously, but who knows with his flip/flop mentality..

Let's back up here a bit.....

A lot of land in the western states belongs to the federal government. Nearly 30% of all US land is owned by the government. In the state of Nevada 84% of the land is owned by the federal government.

While I am all for preserving federally owned land, but the US government sure does own a lot of land. I see no reason why some of it cannot be handed down or sold to local state governments, or if not, auctioned off to private citizens so long as our government gets a fair price for it (meaning no deals where land is sold off cheaply).

A lot of that land is owned by fed govt to keep it from being developed because there is not water in western states to support it..

Republicans are hypocrites. They lie about repeal/replace Obamacare to appease multi national pharma & healthcare companies, which will then "collapse" and need a bailout, then blame on Obama.

Selling off government land will be an excuse to bring in money after they burst the healthcare bubble and we go into recession again.

It's kinda nice sitting back and watching Trump & Republicans fumble. It's hard work governing & all Republicans do is block and/or stall anything that doesn't put money in their pockets.
