Paxum or Payoneer?

Which would you choose right now, if you didn't have either and only wanted one?

Denny 01-05-2017 05:23 AM

Depends on your sponsors. Payoneer is mostly used by cam/dating sponsors. Most of my sponsors offer Paxum but not Payoneer (yet).

Paul&John 01-05-2017 05:35 AM

Paxum...

I've gone for a payoneer card & awaiting on arrival, already with a payoneer account. Never had a problem with them :2 cents:

CaptainHowdy 01-05-2017 06:42 AM

Paxum ...

BigFurry 01-05-2017 06:49 AM

Paxum. Never had an issue.

With Payoneer I had lots of problems, including bad support, and account incompatibilities.
* Can't receive non-adult program payments with an adult-related Payoneer.
* Can't receive payments from many programs if you choose the bank-transfer Payoneer instead of the Mastercard Payoneer. Which is a big issue for companies, as you cannot get a true company Mastercard Payoneer account, they won't issue cards with a company name.)

You open a Payoneer account, and you think that's it... And then you may end up having to open 2 more under different emails to be able to receive payments from different programs.

Adraco 01-05-2017 06:56 AM

Paxum is more widespread, in so far that many adult hosts, designer and other service providers accept Paxum payments directly.

Payoneer is more a straight forward receive and cash out system, it is harder to transfer between account holders and thereby not so widespread or accepted.

A Paxum account is free, no monthly fees, you do pay $44.95 yearly for the Mastercard if you want it, or else you only pay a fixed fee for withdrawal to bank account.

Payoneer will give you the card for free but will instead charge your account a monthly maintenance fee of $2-$3 USD as long as there is money in the account or coming into the account. If you have a balance of $0, you also pay $0 in fees.

To receive a Paxum payment costs $0, to send one to another account holder costs $0.50 for personal accounts and $1 for business accounts.

To receive a sponsor payment in Payoneer, costs anything between $0-$5 per payment, depending on which exact price plan that sponsor is on.

Paxum

don't use Payoneer :2 cents:

Payoneer is solid
Paxum is having issues daily

Take your pick
paxum reminds me of epass

hdbuilder 01-05-2017 08:02 PM

AllAboutCams 01-05-2017 08:09 PM

elron 01-06-2017 12:10 AM

payoneer fees are significantly higher

3xmedia 01-06-2017 02:54 AM

Payoneer seems to be more reliable but is a bit more expensive and has some dumb terms. Paxum is easier to use but on the other hand it has issues quite often.

I have both. If a sponsor offers both Payoneer and Paxum I usually prefer Paxum.

BigFurry 01-06-2017 03:09 AM

Paxum only has issues with the Mastercard though. If you don't want to use their card, no issues.

hotbarbie 01-06-2017 03:32 AM

Payoneer :thumbsup

Matyko 01-06-2017 04:39 AM

go for both

CurrentlySober 01-06-2017 04:57 AM

I have neither but I'm prob gonna get a paxum account this month. That said though, I did sign up for a payoneer a while ago and went thru all the rigmarole, only to find that because i signed up from the main site, and not thru an 'adult specific' link, I couldn't use the account for its intended purpose :(

ContentPimp 01-06-2017 04:59 AM

should always have both. But if you have to pick one, Paxum :pimp

Let me know how you get on with verifying your bank account, if you do.

The reason I ask is, I had a paxum account a few years ago, but when I tried to verify my bank account (Barclays), Paxum sent a random small amount to my account to verify it but it came through an intermediary bank who converted it to sterling before it reached my bank. That meant I was unable to find out the original dollar amount so I couldn't complete the verification. If I get either of these services it would be primarily for sending funds to my bank, not for using a card, so I'd be interested to know if this is still going to be a problem.

Adnium_Ivana 01-06-2017 10:01 AM

Our clients wanted as much flexibility with payouts as possible so we use both. Site owners seem to like Payoneer while advertisers seem to prefer Paxum it seems :)

Thanks for the warning. I am indeed with Barclays ! Looks like a problem waiting to happen. I might drop an email to Ruth in a bit and link her this post... Like you I just want to get money into paxum and sent to my bank... I dont want or need a card...

CurrentlySober 01-07-2017 09:25 AM

OK Email sent to Ruth :)

I opened a Payoneer account and a Payoneer Escrow account recently. Okay cause I can use it for mainstream shit but yeah seems stupid can't use it for everything. Pimproll said they were adding Payza in a week so was gonna do that but that week has come and gone many weeks now so may do Paxum as tired of waiting on them.

Frank 01-07-2017 10:52 AM

I find Payoneer is better.

shiraz9944 01-07-2017 01:42 PM

I know I'm being an ass but honestly, if you are in the US, use ACH/WIRE or if you are in the US and your network/sponsor is not then have them do a wire......I mean real biz here. I know some big sponsors don't do either which really boggles my head, and force you to use payoneer or paxum, just weird.

maximuandrew 01-13-2017 12:21 PM

I would go with Payoneer

nikki99 01-13-2017 01:14 PM

no this shit again

romeo22 01-13-2017 02:52 PM

Paxum not payoneer
