Saw the movie when it came out in 97 or 98. It's a movie full of problems, but I somehow kind of liked it. It barfed non-stop family-values, weak acting, and sometimes terrible vfx (that rubber alien - ugh!) but I somehow liked the movie.

I still have the lost in space DVD, I won it at Pizza Hut.

I recall seeing them when I was in 1st grade...in 1970 - and the original series ended in '68. So yeah...it'd be the re-runs.
