FORT LAUDERDALE, FL (WCMH) ? Nine people were shot and at least one person is dead after a shooting at the airport in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, NBC News reports.

Former White House Press Secretary Ari Fleischer tweeted Friday that he is at the airport and that shots were fired. He said that ?everyone is running.?

According to NBC News, reports indicate nine people have been shot and wounded, a suspect in custody.
