No Lesbians at Internext?
 

I went to the GayVN speed networking event and noticed it was all gay men. There was only one woman in the room.

Why is gay men such a huge thing in our industry, but not lesbian women? Is this because gay men sells (to other gay men) but lesbians sell mostly to men who like watching women go at it?

Why is there no lesbian events for gay women?

Maybe, some were male lesbians -- LOL dining at the (Y)
Maybe, most of the industry lesbians are faking it for money?
Maybe, the real bull dykes didn't want to hang out at an adult industry sausage party :OD

I doubt there many 'real' lesbian's in the biz - They can be fairly feminist, and there is nothing wrong with that - However it means they will disagree with a lot of what goes on in the industry - Look at the way women are talked about here!..

Notice the gay event isn't filled with gay men outside of hunks or twinks. There are no fully gay women (movie part wise) in the industry anymore that you'd want to meet up with. Jenna left a hole nobody else has filled.

i dont think those gays are real gays, just straight guys doing that for money, but they have nice biz community online, and except few sites there is no lesbian adult industry community online :2 cents: :)

So it was just talent and no webmasters?..

Girls in GG porn complain about other girls who aren't at least bi all the time, most do it for the money I think and is harder for guys to fake it. You know..

Just my theory.

Most porn is aimed at men. Lesbian porn is a part of heterosexual porn aimed at men. Heterosexual men don't like to even see gay porn. So gay porn won't be mixed in with the heterosexual porn.

Gay porn needs a separate place, Like GayVN, where everyone present is excited and having fun watching two guys doing porn stuff.

I guess the question comes down to is the OP talking talent or business people? I've known quite a few business people and WM's over the years (and some used to post here) that are lesbian...and I'm pretty sure that the OP knows a few of them as well since we all attended the same events back in 2001-2007 (approx)
