Smoking at the bar!
 

Is it just me do you hate fucking people smoking at a bar? What good does smoking do? What purpose does it serve? If I drink a beer, then the person next to me does NOT get drunk. However, if I smoke a cancer stick, then the person next to me DOES smoke it as well.

I think I've come to the conclusion that I am just going to have to call these assholes out who smoke at a bar. I can't stand waking up in clothes that smell like smoke and clogged lungs when I smoked 0 cigarettes all goddam night!

Yea dumbass...the point was that smokers affect and have an effect of everyone around them. Total douches! I hate smokers...just stop!

Even though I smoke for around 7 years, I was one of the happiest people when the gov banned smoking from pubs and restaurants. I was never lazy to go out for a cig, also, I always hated getting home after a night out with all my clothes and my hair and everything smelling like shit because of the smoke from the nightclubs and pubs.

I might have to make it a thing to call people out...internalize it and be ready to fight them :thumbsup

Thoughts? Living as a smoker in some rural area is more healthier then living as a non-smoker in... for example New York City...

Hey... you're absolutely right... but to not being a hypocrite you should focus the same hatred towards car owners driving through your street and Big Capital who's factories spreading poison into your air and water to make shitloads of money at the expense of your health...

I'm so glad, that in my country it is banned. I also hate the smell of cigarettes all over my clothes and hair :disgust

years ago, whet it was not banned, i use to come home and my clothes majorly stank of smoke, was disgusting experience. Not to mention passive smoking. Brr, don't remind me that shit.

wtf has drinking has to do with the issue, not to mention that people who smoke on average drink even more. Drinking cancells each other out here. Not to mention that passive smoking and listening to drunks are not even remotelly similar healt and hygiene wise.

As a past smoker I don't mind second hand smoke so much. It reminds me of why I quit and it allows me to take a hit without actually taking a hit.

Good point; but why do you have to tell the bars how to run their business?

Why can't they have a choice and you make a choice to not go there if they allow smoking?

Answer : Because non-smokers never bought enough drinks for many bar owners to care so they pushed for a law to fuck it up for everybody instead of opening no-smoking bars themselves.

the fact you don't understand why people do and have major problems stopping just brings to light how naive you continue to be. haven't you grown up a little in between all these bans? it's kind of embarrassing at this point.

As long as cigarettes are legal I think it's hypocritical to back us into a corner and take away our rights. Ban cigarettes not smoking imo

Nobody goes to a bar to get healthy.

Alcohol rots the liver, causes high blood pressure, obesity, spousal abuse, drunk driving and death.

But alcohol can do much of that in just one night; unlike smoking that takes decades to kill someone.

The audacity of going to a business that serves POISON to drink that has an immediate impact and complaining about smoking that may, and I stress MAY, impact you in 30 years.

What is so funny? Lots of countries have banned smoking in bars. Fun times have not changed one bit, you just go outside for a smoke.

In fact I am surprised there are still civilized countries which did not ban this. It is a no brainer great decision.

I remember the first time going into a pub after the indoor smoking ban, it was the best. A bunch of old fuckers continued to try to light up but the bar tenders would bitch them out. It took a few weeks for them to finally get it. It makes the experience of going out to a bar so much better when you don't have to worry about smokers burning your clothes, dropping their cig ends, ashtrays everywhere and smoke stinking out your clothes.
