Is there anything more annoying than going out with people and all they do is text on their phone? It's like an addiction

People taking pics of their food at a restauraunt still rates as my most annoying "cell phone related" issue.

And i still don't get that "checking in" shit that everyone does on FB.

i agree, i hate the people that can't get away from their phones, and hate even more the people that do not work online and still at their phones

I've experienced 2 people who literally just walk into walls or into you the ENTIRE night out. On their phones. Fucking can't take it man

Regular selfie is much more annoying for me.
Taking photos of other things much less so, as taking photos of something is pretty normal and taking a selfie is ridiculously moronic.

Seriously has anyone noticed the phenomenon where someone buys a smart phone and suddenly they think they're a Starship Commander? But the truth is they're just an annoying putz that looks at their phone when they're talking to you.

They spend hours sharing stuff no one is interested in.

Couple months back i went to a shopping mall and i saw a young couple (around 16-17 y/o) sitting in mcdo's, both on their phones - girl was chatting on facebook and the guy was playing hearthstone... Best date of the year, fucking disgusting and pathetic. If you can't talk to the person you meet (bc you dont have a mutual topic or just dont give a fuck about the other) then dont even fucking go out with them :D

A hungarian dj was complaining about it a year or two ago, saying that he sees the crowd at a party and what they do is they are on their phones the whole time, not even dancing or talking to anybody. When the drop comes, they just move for 5-10 seconds and then back to their phones. He said he was sure that they were posting on facebook how well they were feeling themselves, while actually they were just there with stone cold faces, not even listening to the music or giving anything back to the dj... Cmon, when I go to a party i never take out my phone, I'm there for the music and the atmosphere. Well, truth is, in addition, I don't take it out because I'm too shitfaced to do so :banana

Instead of complaining about it - recognize it as a money making opportunity!!!

If you see that they are on the phone all of the time - monetize it

Right now advertising on FB is so cheap...like when Google Adwords first started and you could get words like porn for $0.05 a click

Snapchat and Instagram are the next two - if you haven't figured out how to monetize them...you are behind the curve

And for those complaining about the couple - before the smart phones - they would have sat their not talking to each other....again...just recognize it and make money from it

It's called 'being social'. You can read up on that on some websites before you actually go out into the world and plan on meeting some people who aren't relatives.
