Comrade Donald Trump's first official act as President? Fuck over the regular folk...

...

...

...

I m sure Trump voters using FHA just love this one.

Quote:

Soon after Donald Trump was sworn in as president, his administration undid one of Barack Obama?s last-minute economic-policy actions: a mortgage-fee cut under a government program that?s popular with first-time home buyers and low-income borrowers.

The new administration on Friday said it?s canceling a reduction in the Federal Housing Administration?s annual fee for most borrowers. The cut would have reduced the annual premium for someone borrowing $200,000 by $500 in the first year.

Low income people are NOT "regular" people

Good smart move by Trump

beerptrol 01-20-2017 05:12 PM

He has to pay for the tax cuts he's going to give the rich

Just wait until they undo the regulations to curb predatory lending

Yet the banks love to prey on them and in the end tax payers will pay

Bladewire 01-20-2017 05:30 PM

Trump saying one thing and his people doing the opposire, again.

?One hour after talking about helping working people and ending the cabal in Washington that hurts people, he signs a regulation that makes it more expensive for new homeowners to buy mortgages."

Government insuring the loans is fine. They need to put into place stricter guidelines for who they give the loans to so banks can't give loans to anyone who fogs up a mirror when then breathe then sell them off so they can quickly profit and someone else can deal with them when they default.

Here's another one they slipped in and had Trump sign, yet NOBODY knows what it is

Trump signs executive order to "ease the burden"; of Obamacare

Knowing republicans, it does the opposite of what it's named :thumbsup

Barry-xlovecam 01-20-2017 06:16 PM

Bad move. These subsidies affect the new home construction market. The new construction market is a large provider of good paying jobs for blue collar workers with *red hats*

Oh wait ...

You could try reading it.

Sounds like he is setting up interstate competition to lower premiums.

Just from a brief scan.

All he did was put on hold an interest rate cut when rates are going up.

We don't want a repeat of the 80's

Trump's Stealth Health Plan Could Be 'Medicare For All'

Unlikely we get a rational solution ...

Quote:

Donald Trump may have a stealth health plan that would be a surprise to millions: It's called "Medicare for All. (MFA)"

He's not uttered these words and his party hasn't either -- and isn't likely to champion. The GOP has long sought the destruction of the Affordable Care Act and privatization of Medicare and Social Security.

But Trump's rhetoric has suggested Medicare for All and he could follow through and solve a basket of problems in one fell swoop. If he proposes such a plan, it would not only be a shocker, it would push a progressive solution to health care that has floated around for decades.

House prices are governed by what people can afford to pay.

Sure if you draw a asshole over where his mouth is using Photoshop then yes it does look like an asshole!

That's Capitalism. If you want to live in a Capitalist society, those are the risks you take.

Did not hear anyone bitching in 2013 when the FHA got bailed out by the tax payers for the
tune of $1.8 billion. Were was the uproar! If you got a 580 credit score then you should not be buying a house.

You're confusing Capitalism with Globalism.

Restricted Capitalism is not Capitalism. True Capitalist society cannot be restricted by its own man-made borders...thus by it's very nature Capitalism embraces global participation.

Paul Markham 01-22-2017 12:59 AM

House prices will rise by whatever the saving is. Tax revenue is the only thing effected.
