Pornocracy...watch it!

French performer and Director Ovidie has tackled a subject that nobody else in the biz, particularly here in the USA want to touch. She has gone head to head with Manwin/MindGeek and the problems that they have wrought on not just the industry but also society in general. I am proud to have been a part of this documentary which will show at south by southwest and was produced by Canal plus The huge, European Cable outlet.

This is the kind of documentary that could very well bring some much needed attention to the problem of tube sites and copyright infringement but even more making hardcore adult material accessible to school children.

Congrats to my friend Ovidie for having the courage to make this movie and make it honestly. When you get the chance..WATCH IT!

its very new to google it combine the search with Ovidie breitbart has done a story on it. to my knowledge it has not aired yet on canal plus but it will...thats why I say watch for it. I was sent a screener because I participated in it.

It was because of my blog, indirectly at least. Because of that I have contact with many people in the biz and a LOT of mainstream press, particularly in europe. Americans wont speak up against MindGeek/Manwin but many europeans are not in their pockets...I dont think you will be reading about Pornocracy in AVN or XBiz anytime soon for example. I love Ovidie and I also got Stoya involved

I don't read XBiz or had anything to do with AVN since Gene Ross worked there bitching he couldn't work the computer. But as for France I wouldn't get your hopes up too much, they'll make a bit of noise but lose interest fast. I've been sitting on a story but no one wants to investigate it.

It would be great if it was made a lot harder for children to access porn. The problem would be that few here want that.

I've had a number of girls tell me that they saw porn at age 12 or 13 or so and decided they wanted to be THAT girl--the one getting banged. So exposing young girls at an impressionable age to porn can definitely be a recruiting tool for the industry.

This may be a selling point for the porn biz, but for the rest of society, probably not so much.

I know from first-hand experience that boys as young as 10-11 are accessing porn. Is that good for 10-11-year-old girls? Not the stuff they are watching. Not the stuff that most of us publish.

I agree, parent reasonability. my daughter has known I'm a shooter since day 1. she was 8? she has no interest in porn at all, didn't watch it as a kid, doesn't watch it know.

I know of a girl that was shooting mast vids on her phone at 14 sending them to guys she liked. had she not see porn she would have done something else to get sexed up....
