Watch out IRS Scam

Just in case you get a call from 202-697-9010. Washington
Watch out, its a pretty obvious scam but it has caught a few people off guard.

You will get a call from some Indian guy, sounds a little like a computer generated Indian but its mostly a real Indian who is extremely difficult to understand.
He will tell you he's from the IRS and you own thousands of $ in tax, you are a criminal and unless you send the outstanding $ he will alert the local police department and have you arrested for tax fraud.
He called me and i started laughing, this really pissed him off, so to add insult to injury i asked him is he a legal immigrant, wow then this started all sorts of threats.

I messed with him for a few minute and then hung up. But for some older people this could pose a serious concern. The guy is obviously a nut job but if people believe this the shock could give them a heart attack, so watch out for this number and if they call you have some fun:thumbsup

I remember getting that call when I was in a Starbucks in NYC and almost late for my fantasy football draft which was at a bar a few blocks away. I wasn't thinking straight and just took the call and listened to it, and immediately called my wife to ask if she knew what the fuck was going on -- bobbling my coffee and running down the street. She said "hey dumbass, that was a spam call".

I'm one of those people who instantly hangs up on telemarketers, or doesn't even answer the phone in the first place. I always wondered, who the hell is falling for this bullshit...and that call made me realize they have to catch you off guard when your mind is on something else.

He's probably not even calling from within the USA.

The usual trick is to ask you to pay your debt with itunes gift cards.

Yeah even if you are careful when it comes to stuff like that, if a spammer send you e-mail which is similar to something what you just expecting at the moment, for example an invoice for something your ordered, you could be screwed.
