If you count threatening Mexico's president with war, then add that to the checklist...

Trump lambastes Pena Nieto in 'humiliating,' 'threatening' phone call - Business Insider Deutschland

"In an interview with the Mexican news outlet Aristegui Noticias, Estevez, who cited sources on both sides of the call, said, "It was a very offensive conversation where Trump humiliated Peņa Nieto."

"I don't need the Mexicans. I don't need Mexico," Trump reportedly told the Mexican president. "We are going to build the wall and you all are going to pay for it, like it or not."

Trump "even suggested to [Peņa Nieto] that if they are incapable of combatting [narco trafficking] he may have to send troops to assume this task," she said."

Last time I checked, sending troops into a country uninvited was an act of war.

Crimes of War – Act of War
"Until 1945, an act of war in the traditional, historical sense was understood to mean any act by a State that would effectively terminate the normal international law of peacetime and activate the international law of war. The decision was invariably that of the target State and was generally preceded by a statement warning that certain acts would be considered acts of war and would trigger hostilities. "

"In 1945, the United Nations Charter banned the first use of force...."

Ok, I stand corrected. It would be an "act of international terrorism" according to the law books. https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/2331

(1) the term “international terrorism” means activities that—
(A) involve violent acts or acts dangerous to human life that are a violation of the criminal laws of the United States or of any State, or that would be a criminal violation if committed within the jurisdiction of the United States or of any State;
(B) appear to be intended—
(i) to intimidate or coerce a civilian population;
(ii) to influence the policy of a government by intimidation or coercion; or
(iii) to affect the conduct of a government by mass destruction, assassination, or kidnapping; and
(C) occur primarily outside the territorial jurisdiction of the United States, or transcend national boundaries in terms of the means by which they are accomplished, the persons they appear intended to intimidate or coerce, or the locale in which their perpetrators operate or seek asylum;

The troops would be to help Mexico fight the drug trafficking, Trump would ask permission first, Mexico could do with a helping hand :2 cents:

You obviously didn't read that - Trump specifically said he would do it - no invitation needed - so no he doesn't feel he needs permission :thumbsup
I say go for it - might as well start there and maybe he can send the CIA into Columbia - see if he can do any better than Reagan

beerptrol 02-01-2017 05:05 PM

maybe Mexico should arm its self with nukes

Trump National Golf Club Jupiter ordered by District Court judge to pay ex-members $5.74 million - Golf Digest

Quote:

.S. District Court in Florida ruled on Wednesday that President Trump?s golf development company must pay former members of Trump National Golf Club Jupiter $5.74 million stemming from a dispute over changes in club policies.

Judge Kenneth Marra sided with former club members who were suing to re-coop membership fees they felt they were wrongly charged along with membership deposits.

Trump purchased the Jupiter club from the Ritz-Carlton for $5 million in 2012. In turn, according to the PalmBeachPost.com, he was to be responsible for $41 million in refundable deposits owed to club members.

Upon taking ownership, however, Trump?s team changed club policy regarding members who announced their intention to resign. Previously such members could continue to use the club while waiting to get their deposits back, which would occur when a certain number of new members joined. That was no longer the case after Trump?s purchase, as these members were barred from the club but required to still pay as much as $20,000 a year in dues and $1,800 for food and beverage, according to testimony at trial last August.

Marra ruled that the club breached its contract with these members, which CNNMoney reports to be a group of about 65, by denying their access before their deposits were returned.

Alan Garten, the Trump organization?s chief legal officer, told Bloomberg that the company intends to appeal the decision.

"We respectfully disagree with the judge?s decision," Garten said.

?You have a bunch of bad hombres down there. You aren?t doing enough to stop them. I think your military is scared. Our military isn?t, so I just might send them down to take care of it.?

The US has had troops all over South America; some of it has even been to fight drug trafficking.

There are a lot of wars out there that are not declared.
