Another attempt at destroying relations with our best allies. See a pattern here? Hopefully aussies know better than to let this Trojan horse ruin our relations :2 cents:

Donald Trump Hangs Up On Australia, Threatens to Invade Mexico | Mother Jones

"President Trump blasted Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull over a refuhagee agreement and boasted about the magnitude of his electoral college win, according to senior U.S. officials briefed on the Saturday exchange. Then, 25 minutes into what was expected to be an hour-long call, Trump abruptly ended it.

....?This is the worst deal ever,? Trump fumed as Turnbull attempted to confirm that the United States would honor its pledge to take in 1,250 refugees from an Australian detention center. Trump, who one day earlier had signed an executive order temporarily barring the admissions of refugees, complained that he was ?going to get killed? politically and accused Australia of seeking to export the ?next Boston bombers.?

U.S. officials said that Trump has behaved similarly in conversations with leaders of other countries, including Mexico.

Trump hung up on the prime minister of Australia, one of our oldest, closest, and most reliable allies? I don't have the words. In any case, that's the leaders of Mexico, Australia, and "other countries" that Trump has apparently insulted on phone calls. I wonder what the body count really is. How many foreign leaders has Trump yelled at so far?

How about Vladimir Putin? Apparently not. "

LOL!

Australia is desperately trying to dump 2,000 "refugees" they have in holding pens (that includes dreaded north africans). They don't want to release them into Australia and become the next France, Germany or Sweden.

Australia should grow a set and send them all back home. Obama the true America destroyer agreed to take half of them and Australia wants Trump to keep Obama's promise. Not gonna happen!!!

You are very ignorant to see Americas relationship with Australia in such a narrow minded single issue view. Your hivemind mentality only suits those controlling you, to them you are expendable..

Classic "Risk" strategy: invade Australia first.

John McCain Calls Australia's Ambassador To Clean Up Trump's Mess

How often will this happen over the next four years?

WASHINGTON ― Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) called Australia?s ambassador to the United States Thursday morning to do damage control after President Donald Trump?s disastrous recent call with the country?s prime minister.

McCain said he expressed his ?unwavering support for the U.S.-Australia alliance? in the call with Ambassador Joe Hockey.

?I asked Ambassador Hockey to convey to the people of Australia that their American brothers and sisters value our historic alliance, honor the sacrifice of the Australians who have served and are serving by our side, and remain committed to the safer, freer, and better world that Australia does far more than its fair share to protect and promote,? the senator said in a statement.

Nuance is not Trump's thing. By the way, it's a trait required to have good dealings with other world leaders.

He's a rich kid who will find out not everyone will be sucking his nuts in this job.
