?If Trump reneges on the one-China policy after taking office, the Chinese people will demand the government to take revenge. There is no room for bargaining. Sticking to [the one China] principle is not a capricious request by China upon US presidents, but an obligation of US presidents to maintain China-US relations and respect the existing order of the Asia-Pacific,? the Global Times said in an editorial last month.

100% correct, when i was in Taiwan i saw literally hundreds of small sweatshops turning out parts for various US and European companies. I worked there for 6 months on and off and let me tell you its not a place you would like to be. No one does anything without a backhander (bribe) The place is filthy and the people who work in those shops are paid penny's for their labor.

But with all that said, without the manufacturing in Taiwan a huge number of companies in the US and Europe would be fucked. Take Invicta the worlds largest manufacture of watches. Most of their watch parts are made in Taiwan they get away with saying Swiss Made but adding a mechanism made in Switzerland and by being assembled in Switzerland. If we fuck our relations with China that company along with thousands of others are fucked.

Global warming will sink these islands within
20 years anyway so who cares...:)
