Porn from early 2000's, how would you describe?

What would you call porn thats from the early 2000's?

Its not old enough to be vintage or retro so what would you describe it as?

EddyTheDog 02-03-2017 06:50 AM

When they start describing it as vintage I will know it's time to hang up my hat...

Major (Tom) 02-03-2017 06:57 AM

The main stuff that was popular was gonzo. Studios like redlight district, dyabolic & anabolic pretty much could be a summary of that periord.

TheLegacy 02-03-2017 08:03 AM

The stuff was boring in my opinion - basic cookie cutting with a few female stars that stood out but lack of originality on the most part.

Just old?

SpicyM 02-03-2017 09:32 AM

I would call that shitty

Eliza Miller 02-03-2017 10:25 AM

Comparing with the latest productions, I's say 2000's porn is soft porn. I've seen some crazy stuff from sucking on someone's prolapse to a girl jerking off a guy in some other girl's ass. Creative a.f.

bns666 02-03-2017 11:48 AM

depends which niche, bdsm and fetish was booming with innovations in late 90s and early 2000s, it got boring later.

Bladewire 02-03-2017 12:02 PM

The term you're looking for is "old school" :thumbsup

kane 02-03-2017 12:48 PM

The term I would use is "profitable."

robwod 02-03-2017 01:04 PM

It's basically the "pre-tube" era.

DatingNetwork-Derrick 02-03-2017 01:15 PM

Remember when HD porn started coming out in 2005-2006?? Ouuffff... Some things should stay in SD.

Then Rob Black and Lizzie Borden got busted by the Feds for obscenity-- and it stuck.

Names I haven't heard in a long time....

Those were the good old days when anyone could produce porn, it was horrible, and we made fistfuls of money.

Brian8377 02-03-2017 03:06 PM

I call it porn from the early 2000's

ScandalRom 02-03-2017 03:55 PM

Early 2000s porn is almost vintage.

90's porn counts as vintage now if you ask me. It's been long enough to call it vintage, most of it is offline, and it is clearly from another era if you watch it. In another 5-10 years, early 2000s porn will be called vintage.

You think so? I would call the 70's era vintage with big hair and big bushes.

j3rkules 02-04-2017 02:35 AM

How about "old school"?

rogueteens 02-04-2017 02:42 AM

seeing as we are all meant to be marketeers, why not label it as "Classic Era"?

Paul Markham 02-04-2017 02:56 AM

The best term for it would be PROFITABLE PORN.

seeandsee 02-04-2017 03:00 AM

i would describe as good fap material

Cyber Fucker 02-04-2017 04:57 AM

2000's porn.

Aha, especially taking into account the number of zoo, scat, incest, fake-rape and other extreme sites that were flooding the Net in those times and were accepted by Visa and MC...

TheDA 02-04-2017 08:00 AM

'Old school crap'

CaptainHowdy 02-04-2017 08:22 AM

Pre-good porn era ...

ErectMedia 02-04-2017 02:44 PM

Think I started in 2003, could post anything and convert 1-x,1-xx,1-xxx and max 1-1xxx. Back then ya pulled links after a few k ran through with no conversions, today 1-xxxx is normal. :1orglaugh

marcop 02-04-2017 03:03 PM

The amateur stuff from the early aughts looks kinda vintage, IMHO... I think of those days as being the Golden Age of Internet Porn--before the cookie cutter sites and tubes.

Web 1.0 :glugglug

mce 02-05-2017 01:27 AM

The ARS period

Cookie cutter backend and generic content

Niche-specific front ends.

The problem with NOSTALGIA is that the past is ALMOST always 'the good old days.' The truth is NOW is the best time to be alive and to do business. You just have to find the RIGHT SPOT to be in.
