This IS the problem will immigration today. A bunch of people wanting to get out of their own filth has NOTHING to do with whether or not they actually want to be American and respect Americans and American values. Just like Europe has been flooded over the last couple decades of people who want to get out of whatever shithole their from, but don't want to be English, or French or Swedish etc. This is like running a company with 300,000,000 employees and hiring by the 10s of 1000s, people who hate your company and your products. That makes zero sense.
This is a country built on immigrants... yes. BUT a distinguishing difference is it is a country built on immigrants who wanted to be American and fully participate in everything it meant to be American and immigrants who respected, not despised, American ideals and values. The EU has allowed people to flood in by the millions, people who hate everything the EU stands for. Thats idiotic. Thats not something any country should be doing. Even worse, its always a one way street. Mexico and Mexicans call Americans racist for wanting to get illegal immigration under control... but try walking across the border to Mexico and you'll spend who knows how many months in jail until you can afford to bribe your way out. There should always be reciprocal policies as well.
