President Trump has also indicated that he will spend weekends at his 66th floor penthouse, which had been his primary residence before he was elected President. First lady Melania Trump plans to continue to stay at Trump Tower until the summer so the Trumps 10-year-old son, Barron, can finish the school year.

In addition to the Secret Service that provides 24-hour protection to the president, the U.S. military also provides its own support staff to a president through the White House Military Office that coordinates the president's domestic and international travel.

Military personnel and resources work in tandem with the Secret Service transporting equipment and personnel around the world for presidential trips.

The office also provides the military officers who always accompany the president carrying "the nuclear football," a satchel bag that contains the communications and codes that would be used to authorize a nuclear strike.

The move raises anew the possibility that another government agency will be providing government money to one of the president's family business interests. Prior to taking the oath of office. President Trump separated himself financially from the Trump Organization placing his sons Donald Jr. and Eric Trump in control of the company.

DOD has hired "nearby" buildings, houses or apartments to other presidential homes too before. The only difference now, is that Trup potentially stands to profit from government money being piad to him/his organization. Otherwise, this is standard procedure.

Let me correct you.. Trump intends to profit from "tax payers" money. Yours and mine.

The entire reason his Russian bride is staying in the Trump tower is so Trump has reason to go there. This allows him the ability to do business under the table because guess what that's where is business is also run from.

If Republicans had a spine and cared for the constitution, they would impeach him now. Of course they don't have a spine and they don't care about the constitution..

He is also charging the Secret Service about $3 million per year for rent on rooms in the Trump Tower that they will need to protect him and the first lady. Apparently, in the past, other presidents have just allowed the Secret Service to use their personal property for free. I would assume he is doing the same when they go to his place in Florida.

Mara Largo is a private club where 50 other people pay $200,000 a year to live in their little sections of the mansion. It's not like it's Trumps personal private mansion all to himself :1orglaugh

It's expected that the Secret Service will have to spend money for security purposes to protect a new president. They ALWAYS do this. They built multiple buildings at Bush's ranch in Texas, and guard houses on Obama's street in Chicago.

However, this is different. The government should not be paying for this space, it should be given to them.
