GOP Senator, "Trump, not right mentally"

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/...=.e6b99ed071be

Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn.) said Friday night that his Republican Senate colleagues privately express “great concern” about President Trump's temperament, and he joked about the GOP eventually impeaching Trump.

Appearing on “Real Time with Bill Maher,” Maher asked Franken what Republicans really say behind closed doors.

Franken joked: “Well, there's a range in what they'll say, and some will say that he's not right mentally. And some are harsher.”

“No, no. That's not fair. That was cheap,” he continued. “There are some who I guess don't talk to me.”

Franken then got a bit more serious.

“I haven't heard a lot of good things, and I've heard great concern about the president's temperament,” he said.

Lots of grumbles from the right behind closed doors it seems... I guess they are smart enough to see Trump is destroying their brand..

I wonder how long it's going to take for almost 50% of Americans to realize they made a huge mistake in electing Chump, even tough Hilary was not a great alternative ?

Your think the GOP undoing all the laws that protect us from another market crash and installing 6 millionaire Goldman Sachs execs in Trumps cabinet would be enough turn middle class Trump supporters away but NOPE!

It's literally going to take Trump having a huge public meltdown just to get their attention, and even then they'll make excuses for their cuck king. It will have to happen multiple times in a short period of time for them to see what a nutbag they support, and even then, they'd follow their pied piper cuck off a cliff.

This blows me away. They tried to paint Clinton as a millionaire who was owned by Wall Street.... So they put Trump in office. You know, the guy who born with a silver spoon in his mouth.

Don't worry they will never see they did anything wrong. It's just like with Bush, the same GFY idiots you see here chatting drain the swamp were the same idiots who supported Bush and chanted "freedom fries" and boycott the "Dixie Chicks", ect..ect..

They just run from one disaster to the next and completely ignore that they are the ones who voted these people into office. It's always someone elses fault, they never did anything wrong..

When Trump finally implodes they will blame it on everything but Trump. He will become their martyr for the next year then when the next guy comes along, they will jump in the boat and chant the party line, starting the cycle over again.

It's like trying to tell religious people there is no god. They have blind faith in their party above all so it can never do or be wrong..

Vendzilla 02-11-2017 11:22 AM

Al Franken is a douche bag that got elected illegally, making a post about his unbased allegations proves why I have Cricket on ignore

I've been watching these GOP townhalls this weekend and Republicans are PISSED that the GOP is fucking with Obamacare, evidently a lot of them didn't realize the Affordable Care Act was Obamacare and they don't want to lose their insurance.

Now the GOP is backed in a corner and they'll lose constituents either way. This is why you don't brainwash people into demonizing programs & policies that intimately help tens of millions of people.

"In a new poll, 51 per cent of Trump voters agreed that "the Bowling Green Massacre shows why Mr Trump?s immigration policy is needed."

Huh... I've posted the profits of each of the big 6 insurers on here before. Insurers raising rates for pure greed is the failure and should be illegal in the case of health insurers.

Meanwhile Republicans in Congress have had a solid 7 years to come up with a plan to fix or replace. They now hold Congress & the Oval Office but can't seem to figure out how to replace or fix it something Trump said would be done immediately. Now instead of doing it immediately, he's now saying it will take a few years so he can get dumb dumbs like you to buy into needing Republicans to fix it for mid term promises..

You are a gullible to the letter..

The US Healthcare business is a huge racket. The problem is the bought and paid for politicians won't tackle it. Even Obamacare was a stitch up. You have to stop voting for politicians who are bought. And that includes all Democrats.

Trump proved one thing, the vote counts and in a fair race, you would have a better option. Or maybe you did and too stupid to take them. Stop voting Rep or Dem, vote for those who don't represent the 1% and see what happens.

Are they brave enough to adopt the system the rest of the modern world uses? Better, cost less, and fairer.

People who vote for bought for politicians passed gullible decades ago.

you are completely right when you say that there is no party who really does the job.
but if you can decide between a corrupt and a super corrupt you would always chose the lesser evil.

the dangerous on trump is that he does overestimate the role of USA in the world, he decide things without thinking about it before or ask people who should know it better, he has no idea of the diplomatic regulations on the international parquet and he gives a shit on nature and environmental destruction as long as he can build his pipelines or do favours to companie that lubricate him.

i would normally give a fuck on who is president in USA as long as only the US citizens have to deal with their mistake. in that case it is differnt because this pre-human represents the greatest danger of the 21st century for all humanity.

And any idiot that signed the PPACA should have taken that into account before being complete shit heads for passing such an awefull fucking piece of legislation. ( We'll know what's in it after we pass it?)It's why the Republicans wanted nothing to do with it. It's why I have been against the PPACA since it was a bill on this and any other forum.

Isn't it funny you right wing nuts can ever stay on topic? Every single one of you start rambling about Hillary or Obama..

Wake up call Trump is the POTUS not Hillary or Obama.

And here we are 6 years later and Republicans have no plan to replace Obamacare, but want to repeal it. Smart? I think not, lazy & stupid is more like it.

They say Al Franken might be a candidate for 2020 - that would be exciting, he's quick on his feet.
