Anyone not got a USB Power Bank yet?
I've only just bought my first ones, is there anyone else who hasn't got one yet?
|
I have no need for one
|
They like a hd transfer from a flash?
|
My wife uses them. She has a few. One even has a built-in solar battery :)
|
Gary´s friend said about one of these the other day, not sure if he bought it and is using it...
Shall have to find out how they´re getting on with it, how´s it working for you WHP? If they work well and the charge stays up for a while, it sounds like it´s going to be a worth while gadget! |
Good device for travels

I doubt this thing exists, because you posted it.

I am charging my 2 now for a trip
the big one is 10400mA small one is 800mA My last trans-continental flight had a USB charger plug to use |
I got a nice thin one about the size of a phone, 10,000 miliamps I think so charges your phone almost 3 times. Only used it a few times but it sure comes in handy.
|
Looking into one right now

Congratulations! Powerbanks are awesome!
I have 2 of theses powerbanks and each powers up my laptop and phone a few times. And I recharge them by hooking them up to this portable solar panel that put in the window or on the patio. It takes a few hours to charge. Nothing like free energy congrats! |
Use them pretty often while traveling.

I imagine it is useful thing for those who use smartphones or smoke e-cigs daily.
|
I always have a USB battery pack in my briefcase when travelling. Saved my ass a few times when there was no charging stations available at airports, etc.
Last summer my wife got us the Solar charger for days at the beach ... VERY helpful for listening to tunes all afternoon long while in the sand. |
I never thought I would need one until we lost power for 2 days and I had to use my car to charge my device. Now I have a bunch stashed in the house

not sure about apple, but properly configured android phone can easily last 2 days with moderate use... under "heavy use" it's a lot less indeed, but if you are going to stare at the phone screen like some idiot the whole day why leave the house in the first place? :error

It is still kinda amazing tbh, the last cheap phone I had b4 my 1st smart phone was some cheap as hell ATT go phone. That phone cost me like $15 the charge would last a week and the phone lasted me 2 years.. My 1st Smart phone was a Google Nexus 4. It was not a bad phone but with-in a year the touch screen was already screwing up due to every day carrying it around. I'm actually only on my 2nd smart phone now which is a Samsung Galaxy 4. It's held up well and still does everything I need so I can't see updating even though they are about to release galaxy 8 now. TBH the battery on my S4 still holds a decent charge and worst case I can use a battery pack. The only issue I even have with the phone is the GPS doesn't like to update if I'm using it for directions, but if I just look at the map with out a route in the map the GPS works fine. TBH the main reason I still use my old S4 is because I use it for ebay pictures and I don't want a newer camera as the picture file sizes will be bigger which slows uploads. |
Ive got one, its shaped like Marvel's iron Man!
|
another idea...
https://igo.com/ https://www.amazon.com/Green-Laptop-.../dp/B0038W9OIG 85% less power use when on standby... |
