Anybody here try to thru-hike one of the triple crown trails?

The Appalachian Trail. Only one out of four hikers who attempt the AT actually finish it. ...
The Pacific Crest Trail. The PCT runs 2,650 miles from Mexico all the way to Canada. ...
The Continental Divide Trail. The Continental Divide Trail is 85 percent complete.

I tried to thru hike the Appalachian Trail but cut my knee and had to stop. I did about 200 miles of it.

I did quite a few miles as a boy scout of the AT in Georgia. Our troop would go up there each summer and hike a different section.

I've been planning to do a through hike for the lat 3 years. I was supposed to do it last summer then stuff happened so I didn't. I was getting my self ready all that year had been doing 10+ mile hikes every weekend and a few miles each day. I then planned to do it this coming summer but stuff happened and I'm not..

I do plan it, but at this point I can't say if it will be next summer or not.. I'd like to do the PCT as well but I haven't even made it to Cali in my van yet.. I keep getting stuck in Colorado.. :1orglaugh

As a cop out I was thinking of doing the Colorado Trail this summer, it's 500 miles. On the flip side I've been getting a bit more into mountain biking and have toyed with the idea of doing something from that aspect instead. Like some cross country touring or something.

As far as the cycling a longer term plan is to head to Europe and cycle tour around there. My problem is I'm always wanting to do something new so other stuff gets moved ahead.
