I used to watch every morning then they became so pro Trump and Joe got so full of himself that it was a turnoff. Then the day after Trump won Joe played a mashup of all the times he said Trump would win and others saying he'd lose... He played it over and over. It was a couple weeks nonstop of I told you so from him.

Then he'd have guests on they'd say a couple sentences and he'd interrupt and talk the whole remaining segment. Why have guests on if you don't let them talk and you're going to dominate with diatribe after diatribe WTF?

I'm glad they banned Conway, all she does is gloat, lie and deflect. Morning Joe was the first high profile show that had Trump on and promoted him daily, and has him on live a couple days a week defending him and giving him unlimited access to their platform. Joe later admitted that he's close friends with Trump and he and his family spent the last 5 new years at Mar-a-largo with the Trump family.

They do that, but the average day doesn't have enough content to fill the 24/7 so they have commentary shows in between. the ratings on those shows are pretty high so not exactly bothering many.

Well Robbie you are right - and wrong at the same time. Yes, ANY political leader can be called 'Hitler'. But that's NOT what I am saying. I am NOT saying "Trump is Hitler".

I am saying Trump - along with many other leaders, including Bush, Reagan, Clinton and Johnson - are using the Nazi STRATEGIES and TACTICS for control. They are using the same playbook, if you will.

Keep the people insulated and ignorant.
Keep the people distracted by falsehoods and meaningless arguments.
Keep the people docile by financially entrapping them so they cannot afford to protest.
Keep the people stuck in their beliefs, ignoring reality and facts.
Keep the people divided - "us" against "them".

On and on. No, Trump is not "Hitler". He (along with most post-1945 politicians) saw how the Nazis took over and controlled Germany and use those same tactics, albeit in a less-dramatic, less-"Hitler" way.

If people do not see these patterns and strategies and fail to stop them then...we all get what we deserve.

It was definitely the exact OPPOSITE of the hard-hitting coverage of the Vietnam War.

The media all wanted those coveted spots "embedded" with troops. So all the reports coming back were all about the "Heroes" of the American military.
Wasn't until Abu Ghraib that any real negative reporting started coming out.

And that was only because CBS News was wanting to help John Kerry beat Bush in the 2004 election.
Until then...they kept that story under wraps. :(
