I honestly believe our weather is changing, this is normal, although man kind is accelerating this process. We are in fact in an ice age, and coming out of it. These changes take millions of years. Mankind is used to weather the way it's been for the past one thousand years. It's going to get much, much hotter.

Maybe, the sea will cover Central America -- humans can migrate to Canada where the weather will be more hospitable.
We need to stop breathing so much -- it's all that CO2 we exhale.

Also, reforestation is important -- trees metabolize CO2 remove it from the air. Plants will thrive. Tundra will be arable land for grass and grazing. Trees bring rainfall increases and suck up the water from swamps and bogs. Conifers might grow in the tundra one day.

Mankind has to adapt or die.
One part of adapt is to lower the carbon footprint.
The other part is to invest in the future -- buy land in higher elevations and in colder climates.
The most productive spending is on reforestation of the planet.

I know the difference between Weather and Climate. I didn't say its going back down to -14c here (Montreal), because it isn't. On Friday its supposed to be 4c, Saturday 14c, then 1, then 3, 6, 8,1, 0, and next week down to -1. That's nowhere close to -14.

And of course, everyone understands that a day-long spike in temperature doesn't really mean much, but I didn't post that either. Its the increased mean temperature that we should be freaking out about.
