Ahhh many of my old faves had flat roofs....

Not just the flatroof...

The scratched/fag-burned perspex windows, that you can't really see out of add to the ambience, and for the full experience... sticky carpet tiles.

It was the only pub near me that had Tennents Super on draft.
And as a skint 16 yearold, it was the cheapest way to get pissed.

I remember going into a pub once and it had sawdust on the floor!

Sign of a quality establishment. Along with no door or toilet seat for 'the shitter' (correct term to ask the barman).

There was an investment banker who bought up a bunch and then used a computer program to make them profitable. Pretty cool concept.

Crazy the way the full UK pub industry has been destroyed over the past few years. Used to enjoy my Sundays watching the football with a packet of smokes and a few pints
