I have seen all of the X-Men movies but never really got into them much, preferring the Marvel Cinematic Universe instead (Captain America, Thor, Avengers, Guardians, etc etc). Days of Future Past was OK, and of course Deadpool was freaking amazing. Wolverine held the least amount of interest for me.

Then again, the trailers for Logan look really good so yes, I'll be checking it out too.

I am SUPER excited about this. They are doing a X-Men marathon today so sitting and working with it on in the background.

I am also a bigger fan of the other Marvel movies but have to say most of the X-Men movies were decent.

I suppose it will be the best part of its series.

XMaster 02-28-2017 08:00 AM

I go to see it tomorrow. Yeah!

AndyA 02-28-2017 12:40 PM

It's going to be AWESOME and I will see it tomorrow

You would think Wolverine would HAVE to be rated R

I mean the carnage those claws would do to the human face alone would almost make it NC17
let's see some BLOOD!!

Vendzilla 02-28-2017 02:36 PM

Saw John Wick 2 on Sunday, looking forward to seeing Logan next, last movie for both of them in the X men realm

100% agreed here. Let's see what damage can really be done with those things. And the best part? The little girl in the trailer is X-23, supposedly cloned from Wolverine. More claws in her so more stylish slashing!

Thing I don't get is.. I thought he didn't are because his cells KEEP regenerating. So how is he an old man in this movie?

Found this

One of the things we all thought about as we worked on this film is, well, we don't want to rebuild everything. We want to have some questions. In order to make a different Logan, and a different tone of a Wolverine movie, we felt like we couldn't hold on to every tradition established in all the movies religiously, or we'd be trapped by the decisions made before us. So we questioned whether Logan's healing factor causes him to heal without even a scar. We imagined that it may have when he was younger, but with age, he's getting older and ailing. Perhaps his healing factor no longer produces baby-soft skin. So we imagined he heals quickly, still, but it leaves a scar. The simple idea was that his body would start to get a little more ravaged with a kind of tattooing of past battles, lacerations that remain of previous conflicts.

First, Logan. Next, Logans Run!

I read a lot of X-man and Wolverine comics when I was a kid. They explain it as not making him immortal but making him age very slowly. There have also been storylines over the years where things have happened that have caused his healing ability to either not work or work a lot slower. Having not seen the movie, I don't know if either of these come into play or not. My bet is that this is set sometime in the future when he has aged, just very slowly.
