Why are so many people so bad at communicating?
 

Is it really that difficult to check your emails throughout the day and respond back in a timely fashion? So many people are SO BAD at communicating these days. Way too much ADD

Probably because nobody wants to talk to your dipshit ass. Go play in traffic.

Clear communication requires clarity of thought. Due to the energy involved, most people default to just surface thoughts. To communicate well requires a solid understanding of what you are communicating as well as understanding where another people is coming from, their motivations, their current knowledge levels, etc.

If you can get past the Ayn Rand interludes, "Objective Communication" is a really good book.

We live in a post-verbal society. Many are hiding in their "safe places".
Leaves more business for those of us who can communicate. :thumbsup
