Recommend me a new car

Im looking for family car for four.
Medium size.
Adapted to mountainous roads but must normally looks on the city roads.
About $80k-$100k.
What would you recommend?

I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee. I love it. Mine has full time four wheel drive so it can go pretty much anywhere - and it's come in handy a few times. It's great for long trips, here in town, and can haul anything. I bike so I can easily toss my bike in the back and go for a ride.

They say Jeep is horrible for reliability but... I've had my Jeep for four years, only had one issue, it was minor, and covered under warranty.

Only one recommendation: Don't be a sucker, don't buy new. You might as well flush $30k down the toilet right now.

Why not come here and buy mine if you're serious about it. I can get you approved for the bank loan etc you can even stay with me till it's done.

+1 for Jeep.

And if your kids are past infant stage...I'd get a 4-door Jeep Wrangler and get it decked out bad-ass.
That way you have plenty of room for the family, an area in the back for groceries, etc.
4 wheel drive when you need it.

AND...you can still look cool!

Here's a picture of mine (with Claudia Marie in the pic) with doors off in the summer:
https://theclaudiamarieblog.com/clau...y-june-4-2016/

https://theclaudiamarieblog.com/clau...-april-7-2016/

And with doors on (for the kids and winter time):
https://theclaudiamarieblog.com/clau...with-her-jeep/

And one of just the jeep:
https://scontent-lax3-2.xx.fbcdn.net...9e&oe=59715C0C

Mine cost a bit more money than I ever thought a Jeep could. But it's decked out very nicely. Leather seats, nice interior all the way around and very comfortable (just don't get the big knobby tires like I did because it makes the ride rough...but all-terrain tires smooth it out like a cadillac)

Joshua G 03-05-2017 12:47 PM

Here’s What It’s Like To Off-Road An $85,000 Toyota Land Cruiser

expensive but not pretentious & will be reliable/hold value better than BMW or mercedes or audi.

romeo22 03-05-2017 12:49 PM

I have an Audi S6. I don't know if you'll fit in that budget (150k euro here after options but probably cheaper in the US). AWD, Powerful, looks normal. Very quiet inside, the only thing I can complain about it that the brakes squeal and audi just says "that's how it's gonna be."

80-100k is luxury level :)
family cars go for half that (and that is new, as per nicot post)

Barry-xlovecam 03-05-2017 07:44 PM

If you want to be noticed buy a BMW X5

Buy a Subaru Outback or Forester if you want a good AWD family car.

Lol! I didn't. I just parked it there for a second to take a quick picture of it and then drove away.
That pic was the first day I had it. :)

No one will carjack your family in the KIA

Well I have 5 kids in total - the Chrysler Town and Country is an awesome van that is flexible and keeps all the kids happy with 3 monitors and wireless headphones. The extra room is also important for camping trips but also if you're bringing along surprised guests in the family like mom/dad who need a ride. Not to mention it's great for room should you need to haul bulk stuff - best part for you - it's half and what you're willing to pay
