(SEO) Beating Google's RankBrain by clicking on YOUR result link?

Anyone here notice some increase in Google search rank by simply getting your search result CLICKED?

Services like serpclix claim this works. Any independent confirmation?

Backlinks can only go so far, right?

You need not just clicks but time spent on website with multi clicks after...If you know what you are doing you can simulate a good UX

Yeah, that's what MOZ says.

If it was this simple to manipulate your rankings, Google would have closed the loophole. At one point, I'm sure this technique did work, but this is entirely too easy to abuse in today's SEO market. With that said, I tested it about 6 months ago, unsuccessfully :)

Try an amplified click attack -- use tor

script some bots -- maybe it will work.

but you would have to specify the exit nodes to use to get the page views.

Did it involve single clicks or did you use an AI that mimicked random deep nav clicking? How long was each session? Where the IPs distributed?

I setup browser automation that shuffled between user-agents and would do automated searches of Google and then go page to page looking for my listings and then click the listings (ensuring a referral url from Google). It would then click a random link on my landing pages and ensured a 20-30 second session time. IP's were distributed over my own private proxy network and VPN's. I assumed the VPN IP's wouldn't contribute towards any gains, but my own network of proxies (well spread IP's) is pretty extensive and should have had an effect.

The time on site and page views is an interesting debate and one that has come up with my team a few times lately.

If a user coming through a longtail keyword lands on the exact page they are looking for, then relevancy means that will only view 1 page.

Example "Porn Pros Review" >>>> Porn Pros Network Review - pornprosnetwork at Reviewed Porn >>>> Purchase

If that user views 5 pages then your content is irrelevant with at the end of the day will hurt your SEO as much as anything

You use a $5 VPS and a disposable domain because it wont work probably, and if it does, it will work very short term -- smash and grab.

Do not waste your time and money in such so-called "clicked" service.
It does not work! It's not so easy to manipulate Google search result!

If those 5 pages are keywords related to the long tail landing page you get points, the longer he stays on those five page gets you more points, if he stops searching after visiting your 5 five pages, mega bonus points :thumbsup

RankBrain has nothing to do with this.
RankBrain is basically used for understanding new queries, not seen before
