BTW, I'm 46 and I have NEVER seen an armed policeman except for at airports and London stations and I have never, ever heard of any British police wearing balaclava's. When I lived in Australia for 5 years the standard of living was great, most people owned a home and a rental, standardized healthcare, flat tax and $18 an hour MINIMUM wage.
