2 problems.

1) doing an executive order that can be perceived as a muslim ban, but really is not, & trump is paying a price for an action that doesnt make america any safer. i accuse libs of symbolism over substance & the early trump action is more of the same.

2) taking on healthcare, now. Ryan & trump are giving in to the tea party base, that wants obamacare gone, no ifs ands or buts. But healthcare is complicated, its a divisive issue, no democrats will go along. so the GOP is basically setting themselves up to fail at their first big initiative. Stupid.

the main thing im happy about with trump is that he is not hilary. & that is good enough for now, considering the emerging horror of obama sabotaging his successor. the identity politics democrats really are repugnant criminals with no respect for the rule of law.

thank God, literally, for saving the USA from more criminal liberal rule!

at some point ryan needs to grow some balls & confront the freedom caucus. those bozos are as blind & hyper partisan like the congressional black caucus. if the dumb political parties would make effort to be bi-partisan, congress could get around the extremists.

but shutting half of congress out of the political process guarantees that nut-cases control the show. as we are seeing with congress, right now.

I have a feeling the healthcare stuff might get kicked until after the 2018 election. As you say, as it is written, it has no chance of passing the Senate and very little chance of passing the House. They can't change it to make the far right happy or they will lose the moderates and they can't ignore the far right as they control too many seats. After some initial failure, they might decide to wait and hope they pick up seats in the next election so they can overcome a filibuster and maybe work around the far right.

Of course, you never know what could happen in an election even if they don't lose control of either house, losing seats in either house will make it so that it is nearly impossible to do anything without the Democrats.

We need to cut the poor people off in this country ASAP

To top it off there are only 3 choices of insurers as well LOL. So how is the ACA any good? No wonder 1/3 Californians are on medi-cal.

I don't like Trump as a person one bit, he's definitely an egotistical asshole BUT look at all of the other politicians? Make more than 26k a year and you don't get ANY subsidy and you'll pay over 300 for a silver plan with 750 deductible that most doctors won't accept anyway, at least here in california. You have 3 choices in coveredca.com THREE? And nearly all the health systems won't accept any of them except a platinum plan that would put you out 450 a month for one person. How is this a good system? I had a 150 premium with BC and my doctor accepted it with 100 deductible before they rammed the ACA thru...........how can anyone say this is a good healthcare plan?
