Why is it Republicans in Congress can never manage to do anything during daylight hours? They are always sneaking around behind closed doors voting on things out of public eye in the wee hours of the night or mornings. Why are they so scared to do things that will be seen on CSPAN?

They even have built in fines to raise your premium by 30% if you happen to miss a bill due date. My insurance this year is 3 times the price it was 2 years ago. I have one network of clinics to choose from, as opposed to five 2 years ago. Things will only get worse. The program was a nightmare from the get-go.

"prices even out"? there is nothing to "even out", if the healthcare of elderly or high risk costs 5x, they should pay 5x... if they actually pay 3x like they did under Obamacare, then it means that someone younger/healthier subsidizes their healthcare to the tune of $1000s/year, which for about half the population doesn't sound appealing at all...

all this subsidizing obscures the core of the problem, that healthcare costs are high, and that the focus of the debate should be on putting measures in place to lower costs rather than discussing how we can fuck some to subsidize others...
