This is not a Republican vs Democrat thing. The bills have become so complicated and have so many details that just to fully understand what they are are passing they would have to dedicate a large number of their staff months to investigate it.... Just to figure out what it is.

So Pelosi has evolved since then, almost a decade ago, and learned from her mistakes, knowing the damage an unread healthcare bill can do.

But you position Pelosi as being two faced, instead of her learning and evolving and you don't even mention that the Republicans complaing back then about not reading the Obamacare bill, who now know the damage not reading a bill can do, don't give a shit and are pushing their bill through, unread, giving a bullshit "obamacare is collapsing" excuse to the American people.

She said this in 2013 to get the ACA passed before midterms when they got crushed and wouldn't be able to, that's why they rammed it thru, it wouldn't have passed if they waited til 2014. The ACA is crap, it doesn't matter what you guys say it is. My premium went up 300%, I lost my doctor, and my deductible is triple as well. Well done well done indeed. Should just sign up for medical and get it all for free since 1/3 of all California is on it. Those of you that live here in Cali know this to be true, BC and BS aren't accepted by Sutter health or most private doctors, united healthcare isn't either and kaiser is only to be used at Kaiser LOL. Those are your three options, that's it. You get to choose 1 of those three in California, and nobody accepts them unless you buy the platinum plan for about 500 a month.

Due process is the American way and Pelosi is being a patriot by wanting the American people, and legislature, to know what's being voted on.

Ok so she evolved in 4 years instead of almost 10 , she's still doing the right thing now and being a patriot helping the American people understand what's in the bill.

Nowbody knows what the new bill will evolve into for Americans health but we do know it gives $700billion in tax breaks to the top 1% and the GOP said those tax breaks are non negotiable.

I'm in Southern California (SouthEast Orange county) a Republican district, and we have 6 insurers to choose from, and my deductible didn't change & premium increased a little over $50.

Let me guess... You're a Republican right? Only reason you're in the same state with a wildly different negative experience within the exact same system.

All of these insurers provide insurance here in California under the ACA. Not sure why you're saying there's only 3. I have Blue Cross they're great. Same doctor I've had for years and my dentist I've had for years is accepted on my Blue Cross dental plan.

Anthem Blue Cross.
Blue Shield of California.
Chinese Community Health Plan.
Kaiser Permanente of CA.
Oscar Health Plan of California.
Sharp Health Plan.
Western Health Advantage.

All of the above insurers are available in California through ACA

$500 is nothing really when it comes to health insurance. I've had real health insurance since around 1998. It has been going up the entire time. Actually saw it decrease in price with ACA.

Why did yours go up? Because you probably didn't realize your plan would shit on you if you needed cancer treatment or a triple bypass. ACA mandated that all insurance cover everything. You are getting what you are paying for now.
