Finally something for actual photographers! It also looks like the analog revolution is pick up speed.

Analog anything will always be better than digital.

The analog cock is going to be bigger, longer lasting and provides varying degrees of erection and heat. While the digital penis is always going to be smaller, faster to finish and can only provide an "ON" or "OFF" state. |
This shoots motion picture film. Photographers probably won't get too much out of it.
First look came a few years ago now. I've actually had my hands on a prototype. |

1) I've stumbled upon old footage that I never got around to developing and couldn't because no one did it anymore. 2) I can make absolutely beautiful high color and high definition and visually stunning ART! It's been years that I've been videoing birth canals and colons with Home Depot lights and keeping the camera on "auto pilot" while shaking it so that it looks like **amateur**. It'll be fucking nice to make a high quality product to sell to people that have some real money in their pocket instead of nickles. |

Digital sound & music is better than Analog. It's free from analog artifacts that you get from the friction of a needle scraping against vinyl and tape against a magnetic head, and have much greater dynamic range (The quietest-quiet to the loudest-loud). You can get more channels and more information in digital than you ever could from records or tapes. Digital film and video took a while to get where it is today, but again it looks better, is much cleaner, etc. And just recently achieved amazing dynamic range way beyond film (the blackest black to the brightest white + all other colors). Movie images now appear rock-stable compared to the wobble of movies. Movie grain is also gone, though, it can be easily re-introduced at the discretion of the artists. Editing sound, music, video and film today is much easier and faster than it ever was, allowing for seamless blends, mixes and transitions. Movies can now be colorized in more detail and in more freedom than ever before without the need for chemical baths, called Color timing. So no. Analog will not always be better than digital. In fact it will never be better than digital. I get that some people enjoy listening to actual records. There's something really cool about playing Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon on an actual record player. Placing the record on the player, dropping the needle on the record, holding the album and cover in your hands, etc. Sitting and listening to an entire album from start to finish was the intent of artists back in the day that is lost today I'm sure. I can really appreciate that. I can appreciate it so much that I feel like going out and buying a turntable and digging out my old albums that I never threw out. I "get" that. But I know when I do, I will hear all the scratches and imperfections and other noise that was not intended by Gilmore and the guys. Will I enjoy the experience? Maybe. Will I change my mind and say Analog is better than Digital? No. Peace. |
wow, i loved it!

Digital's only advantages are that it's (1) cheap (2) is highly forgiving for someone's "lack of experience" Just to let you know that movies shot in the 1970s on film were already beyond 4k high definition. |
change of lens is great...
although the image viewer doesn´t flip all the way for selfie video but POV movies would be great to shoot on this :thumbsup |
