Here's a good tip for anyone who is counting calories and trying to lean down. Always err on the liberal side when logging calories, whether you're writing it down, keeping track in your head or using MyFitnesspal app. "Official" estimations for individual foods are almost always on the low side, and when you take into account most dieters' propensity for underestimating the numbers, you lots see fat people staying fat and wondering why.
If your info says a banana is 100 calories, log it as 120. Do this for every food item and you'll most likely end up below your BMR -- but don't be too aggressive with it, or you'll end up undereating which can be kind of bad for your metabolism.
