If there were no internet then yea you need an agent but holy fucking shit why are these girls so stupid they cant self book?

I use agents in California all the time, well worth the extra. 99% of the time a model booked through an agent turns up and mostly on time.

If you book a model outside of an agent its pot luck if they turn up. Type 9 used to be great (out of business now i believe ?) and LA Direct never had an issue.

Also beware of suitcase pimps (boyfriend/manager) always had issues with them.

It makes absolutely no fucking sense to have an agent. I talk to the girl then she says talk to my agent. Well fucking why when I am talking to you?!

Back in the day when there were still a lot of big players going strong, many of them would only book through agencies. Thats why my wife started her own 'agency' just so she could be booked thru it, by those who insisted...

Maybe they are not stupid but not so experienced or don't want to do everything by themselves and would rather use professional help of and advice from someone with the skills and contacts.

In short reliability. Booking through agents means the girl is more likely to show up and be professional. If a girl is flakey she loses out on a lot of future business and gets booted from the agency.
