For years Obama refused to show his birth certificate, so how is trump not showing his returns any different? They're official documents, so now the mainstream media looks really stupid, he paid more taxes than he should have actually on that sort of income. He should call up Warren Buffet and have him do them next time.

I disagree that this shows Trump in a reasonable light.

He makes a lot less money then we had thought. It also shows that he wrote off $150 million, which is utterly ridiculous.

However, none of this is really bad - it just confirms what we guessed. The big thing for me is that the only reason he paid any taxes is because of the alternative minimum tax. The bad thing is Trump is trying to remove this tax. Trump is trying to change the tax code to benefit his business.

That should be a crime.

Of course, it was Trump or someone close to him. It was way too well-choreographed to be a random leak.

i would even go one step further. IF he really leaked this papers by himself (to distract from other themes) why he had to go back to 2005 for that?

but the good news today are that happend what i assumed: wilders got a big kick in his ass in holland and that shows that euopeans learnd from the trump disaster and saw what can happen when a populist get the power.
