Hard to tell, but it is surely worth much. A short, easy to remember domain.

Chinese have been buying ####.com recently, mostly because they have ads like:
(Chinese characters) "####.com"

They love 8s and hate 4s, just sayin.. :upsidedow

I've still got TubeVid and TubeVids dot com and been getting offers from content creators/marketing people in mainstream...not sure I'm ready to sell though...I did advertise them in adult a while back and no one seems to have standby cash so I pulled them down :thumbsup

I would expect tube.com to bring 50k to 2m depending on how fast the seller wants to move it and what data it might pack for natural traffic.
It is listed on sedo.com and shows 7 offers but no buy-it-now price.
So it's just for sale like 5m other names.
But I think it changed hands once last year.

BTW, I always wonder why those that could best utilize and monetize a name like that don't make a offer of shared profits in rent as a partnership.

Because it's too risky if you don't control the domain, for numerous reasons. You would almost always be better off branding your own domain if you truly have, or know how to, generate and monetize your own traffic. I would rather buy the domain on a payment plan than do a revenue split without any control of the domain.
