Trying to get back in the saddle
Sup guys. I was in an accident in 2013 and suffered a head trauma/brain injury. I spent a couple of years in rehab re-learning to talk and walk. When the insurance decided they were through paying for it they shoved me back to a strange place called my home. I only have spotty memory of my life, family and former career. Family is gone and I have to figure out an income this year. I know I was a member here. So if someone knows someone who just dropped off the planet, it may have been me! I learn fast, but have memory issues so I have to document everything I do in a daily journal. I know I owned 28 adult sites from the registrar renewal emails that all expired while I was in rehab. I've been reading and researching affiliate programs and whitelabel programs trying to get a handle on what I did. What would you guys recommend for me starting over? I know that's a big question, but I'm mostly interested in cam sites and I'm not understanding site promotion methods like social networking. How do you do that without getting spam booted? Also do you SEO a whitelabel? I read a lot of advice that falls short of detail. Not looking to bank, I just need sustainable income. Are whitelabels lucrative? Best/worst ones? Is there a more lucrative option for me than whitelabels and/or affiliate progs? Thanks and sorry for the long windedness.

Welcome back. Quiet the story and journey you are on.
As for whats working now - ANYTHING is profitable if you can work it right. Cams - dating - nutra - mainstream ecomm are all hot right now :) |
Welcome back and stay strong.

Why porn? when your new acquired knowledge of recovery, meds and everything that goes with your current predicament, is worth 1000 fold in traffic/ income ratio.

First, this is a forum full of spammers, ass kissers and shameless/broke affiliate reps trying to pimp their links to anyone who will click on them. If you truly want to get your life on track, this is the worst place to ask serious business questions. Those who know don't talk much about what they know, those that do not know anything tend to talk the most. Those who should never talk about actual business such as minimum wage earning affiliate reps who have never sent a single click anywhere will tell you how hot everything they have is in spite of never having made a single online sale in their lives. Be careful with advice here. This business went from an industry giving away Ferraris as prizes to 99.5% people working for pocket change with affiliate programs generating their own traffic rather than relying on others.
You're not likely going to start with zero knowledge and experience and make money anytime soon. As with any maturing business, the learning curve is growing increasingly steeper with time. I think the best advice would be that you go to a place like black hat world and look at "making money" type threads (there is a section for sharing methods) and find simple little methods to make money right now. There is nothing special about adult stuff. there never has been. The only thing that is unique about adult is that it is in its own private corner of the web and traffic (if you buy traffic) is consolidated and easy to access. Cams are notoriously hard to convert, so in addition to everything being weighted against you from time to experience to brain trauma and so on, you've decided to focus on a very difficult niche. Further, there is nothing sustainable in SEO. You are always only as good at that moments SERPs. First and foremost, you need realistic, attainable goals - how to make $5.00 a day for example. If you can do that, you can do $10, If you can do $10, you can do 20 etc... you shouldn't be choosing random and difficult goals and then asking for advice from a bunch of the nets dumbest and most dysfunctional under-achievers on how to achieve them. |
Welcome back wishing you best of luck!!
