Republicans already in a crisis over govt shutdown..
 

April 29th the govt shuts down if a budget is not passed. In that 4 weeks Congress has a 2 week recess where they go back to their home states. This means they only have 2 weeks to work out a deal..

Meanwhile, the different factions in the Republican party are already fighting with each other over trying to shove a defunding of planed parenthood into the budget bill.

The Tea Party loons (aka freedom cockus) claim they will not agree to anything that doesn't included a defunding of planned parenthood. Meanwhile the other Republicans are also saying they can't do that because if they do the Democrats will obviously filibuster it.

Adding to the mix Trump is now threatening to "go to war" with the Freedom cockus.. :1orglaugh

Basically Republicans control all 3 branches of the govt and can't get anything done because they have no clue how to work with anyone or how to govern. They are like a bunch of hillbillies on the Jerry Springer show. I'm waiting for them to start throwing chairs at each other...

Here Ryan is claiming "oh no the govt will not shut down".. just like he claimed the Republicare would pass easily.. Also he says the Trump wall will not be funded this year.. In 2020 MAGA maybe... :1orglaugh:1orglaugh


The best part of all this is Ryan says he will not work with Democrats at all over the healthcare bill and Trump is saying he may go to war with Republicans and go to Democrats to get shit done. Maybe Trump will switch parties again.. :helpme:helpme

Trump only knows how to work in the boardroom. All he knows is negotiating one on one, or with a business who desperately wants to do business with him. This is not how our government works. For every issue we have multiple groups with competing goals - everyone wants healthcare, but there are a dozen different groups with a dozen different ideas and plans.

At the same time Trump is only used to operating in business. He knows nothing about healthcare. Because he is a millionaire he has no basic understanding of what healthcare is to the average American. When Trump needs healthcare, he goes out and buys the best healthcare he can get, doesn't flinch at the price, and it's less than .01% of his yearly income. Compare that to the average American who pays 30% of their salary to pay for healthcare, and if they end up in the hospital they end up in bankruptcy court.

Trump didn't seem to know anything about the healthcare bill. Nothing at all. It was just something he promised during the campaign. But all of those promises need to be kept, and now it's time for action.

This is comical to watch.
