they think their all slick, finding a warm shelter for the winter... (like my attic)

but they forget to realize there's no escape plan up there....

so they die out, and now my whole house smells like sht.

..like garlic and rotting meat.

my gf left and wouldn't even f me last night because of smell.

Why not let them out? force them out? put some effort to get them out, there must be ways to do that without them having to die, and your house not getting stunk the fuck up

Squirrels are the worst! I'm also having problems with them. They destroy my garden every summer and they even got into my tenant's apartment a couple of months ago. Squirrels are just cute rats. Any tricks you could have to make them leave would be welcome.

Ya ur right, both are actually pretty amazing though, sucks how they get such a bad reputation in life. Most humans have more devious intentions than any rat or squirrel, at least they just wanna survive, that's their only intent

shingle vent all the way at the top of roof. Not all houses have these. but i'm pretty sure this is how their droppin in. I had a roofer years ago...nail it down good. But I guess it's flappin around again.

1) How they even get up there, i'm still not 100% on...I hear they can scale the gutters on all houses. anybody else know if this is true? I've never, not once heard or seen an animal (mouse, rat, squirrel) go into or even make noise in those gutters...their aluminum so it should be loud and easily heard.

2) If not the gutters, they could possibly sneak under the siding and find a groove around and up.

3) jumping off a tree ...and landing on roof. But I don't have that issue.

So it's either 1) or 2) for me.

As could be seen from image, they drop in....thinking it's paradise. but uhh o....once their inside. No holes or openings to exit.

but yea....then stinks like shit for like 3 weeks. that garlicky + rotten smell is the worst....the stench practically fumigates your clothes if ur inside long enough. burns throat.
