Tupac Shakur Inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame
www.tmz.com
It was a long time coming, but Tupac Shakur got his place in history Friday night ... getting inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with a stirring speech from Snoop Dogg. Snoop was poetic, calling Tupac a human contraction and going on to explain the late rapper's range as a human being ... calling him, for example, both courageous and afraid. Snoop, who remembers Pac introduced him to the world of blunts, acknowledged he was the greatest rapper of all time, despite dying at 25. There were musical tributes from T.I. Snoop, Alicia Keys and Treach. Definitely a highlight at Barclays. |
Classic Treach:
Brilliant track :thumbsup |
The saddest part of this is that it almost legitimises rap as a valid form of music.
|
he deserves it 100%

that's just not right......

I have all of Tupac's albums.
Keep'em on the shelf right beside my Charlie Daniels, Molly Hatchett and Steve Earle collection. |
What a fucking JOKE. No Jethro Tull, no Moody Blues, no Yes, no....but fucking TUPAC?
Rap, hip hop and black culture have destroyed popular music and now it is infecting the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame. Fucking pathetic! |
How is that rock n roll? Might as well put him into country hall of fame

What does ghetto poetry reading has to do with "rock & roll"?

This makes sense. still patiently waiting for his induction into the Icelandic Reindeer Hoarder Folk Music Hall of Fame as well. Much deserved. Hopefully, he'll be represented by a terminally stoned gangster rapper there too... just to really tie it all together in a logical way.
