Illegal mexicans caught twice will now be charged with a felony
Sessions Enhances Criminal Penalties for Immigration Violations: 'This Is the Trump Era'
Declaring the start of the "Trump era," Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced during a visit to the U.S.-Mexico border Tuesday that migrants deported from the U.S. who illegally re-enter the country will face felony charges and a stepped-up enforcement program. "For those that continue to seek improper and illegal entry into this country, be forewarned: This is a new era. This is the Trump era. The lawlessness, the abdication of the duty to enforce our immigration laws, and the catch-and-release practices of old are over," Sessions said in his prepared remarks, addressing Customs and Border Protection personnel in Nogales, Arizona. https://www.usnews.com/news/national...ion-violations |

I'm all for exporting illegals, but tell me how giving them a felony will mean they get exported? Sounds like to me, that giving them a felony conviction will mean they will be staying at the tax payers dime.. How is this a good thing if you don't happen to run your own private prison?
IMO we would be much better served by propping up the Mexican economy and building our factories there instead of in China.. They come here for jobs, if we send them back 1 time 2 times 10 times they will keep coming back if they have no way to provide for their families.. We help ourselves by helping them.. it's just basic common sense here.. |
