China warns war could break out 'at any moment' over North Korea

China has warned that conflict could break out "at any moment" over North Korea amid fears it is preparing to launch a sixth nuclear test or more missiles in defiance of UN sanctions and stark warnings from the US.

China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi said it was necessary to prevent the situation on the Korean peninsula from going down "an irreversible route".

The Chinese, in their own best economic interests, need to convince North Korea to disarm and cease their nuclear weapons program or they will throw Fat Boy under the bus. The Chinese have too much to lose and nothing to win.

I don't think Chinese can do that even if want.

China are the ones who armed North Korea. They funded them, gave them the tech, materials & guidance.

Also, 80% of NK trade is China.

China airlines has 3 weekly round trips from Pyongyang. ( all flights suspended today )

China made the NK mess and they're forcing America to clean it up. This is a no win for us because it strengthens Chinas position by creating anti USA animosity in Asia and if we do nothing China has a nuclear puppet to continue threatning us and Asia.

China doesn't want all the NK refugees storming their gates when NK finally collapses. They already get thousands of them every year..

That's why they deployed 150k troops to the NK border a couple of days ago?

When I first heard that I thought it was 150k at the Chinese border to stop NK refugees from fleeing to China. Then I heard no 150k troops were deployed and it was fake news.

Interestingly made in China weapons could dictate the outcome of this war.

Bladewire 04-14-2017 02:21 PM

It's 5:51am Saturday in North Korea and the celebration of their founders holiday begins, The Day of the Sun.

The reports I read said they always launch a missile on this holiday, if they submit to China's demands, this will be their first Day of the Sun in decades not launching a missile in celebration of their independence.

This is a news report from 2014 about the Day of the Sun holiday and how huge it is in North Korea. @ 1:15 is interesting.

Yes they have at least 10 nukes now, reports range from 10-30. Most of the American public thinks we are aggressive to NK to stop them from getting nukes, they don't know they already have them :2 cents:

If Trump not attack NK, it will mean NK have right way = bilding nuke weapon and it is best choice for protect himself. And after we will see how the Middle East will become the owners of nuclear weapons.

They have to be able to get them out of their present locations and deliver them. The first thing the US will hit is their bunkers.

brassmonkey 04-15-2017 01:46 AM

thank god there is a such thing as fear! when was the last war with super powers? like 100 years ago? the threat of death just keeps things peaceful.

China has released the one child rule to increase their population. So a few thousand every year are no problem. What China can't afford to do is piss off its biggest customers.

I think Trump did not even have time to make a plan for the war in North Korea.
It looks more like a show off than as a real policy.

DEFCON does not mean nuclear at all, it means Defense Condition #5-1 with 1 being war.......doesn't mean nuclear, it can but doesn't have to.
