Most on here will already know i'm a huuuuuuuge Star Wars fan.

This teaser trailer though and probably the trailers which will follow will never live ip to the hype of the Episode 7 trailers.

Still looking forward to it though. But i just don't have that same excited feeling i had in the build up to Ep 7.

I'm looking forward to seeing the new sex droid. Apparently its name is DV-8 Cool :)

Just like my star wars thread yesterday...Their rushin shit way too quick. Eewwwwwww boy, big powerful theatrical music...To give everybody a boner. That's all the trailer was.

It looks like shit, just like Rogue One was. LucasFilms is trying to cash in....And will ruin the franchise, just like Matrix 2 and 3 did to the original.

You need years to come up with a good , original plot and acting for a mega-hit. won't work trying to jam a new film in every year.

They even timed the trailer release strategically...Thinking it's all people will small-talk over when eating Easter dinner.

I'm kinda over the "cute" chick hero bad ass thing.. It's not realistic..

Now Aliens on the other hand, the bull dike Hispanic military chick, that was realistic.. I could see her kicking some ass..

The cute little jedi girl who can beat up guys bigger than her... yea not buying it..

Princess Leia on the other hand, she was hot, she could aim her gun and managed to choke a big lizard/slug looking thing to death, but they didn't over do it like she was some bad ass..

One of the stereotypes that always bothered me was the "cute bad girl police officer". Have you ever seen a smoking hot female police detective?

While at Phoenix Forum I was walking to my hotel which was a block away, and right next door to the Phoenix Forum is a police station. I ran into three smoking hot police detectives with badges and guns.

I like it, if they continue to evolve on this path it would be great, but I guess they need to use the force little bit more :)

I know George Lucas has said he regreted inventing "The Force" because some people were turning it into a religion. So now the filmmakers are trying to get rid of the Jedi but keep The Force? And weren't there followers of The Force in Rogue One? So which is it, Force good or bad?

well when people become rich the quality always goes away. i liked the last one the rights were sold to disney. i hated when wes craven sold a nightmare on elm street to make another movie. the biggest mistake in his career

I wonder if Luke will be in the film more than the 18 seconds he was in VII.

I really hated the fact that all 3 (Luke, Han, Leia) were in VII, but we never saw all 3 together in one scene or all 3 working on a common goal.

What a waste. Now, Solo is dead, and Carrie has past, so that was the last chance to ever have them all together in one scene. I think the fans got robbed and J.J. blew the arrangement. One or 2 great memorable scenes with all 3 of them together again, like the old days, is something I think the fans really wanted to see, but, that chance came and went.

I love it! I can't wait to see the new movie.. Those that say the last 2 were the worst are stupid. The last 2 were the best since the original trilogy. I'm glad they got away from the kid-friendly jar jar and made SW more dark.

Carrie had already filmed all her scenes planned for the movie before she passed away...

The last Jedi, i doubt it. Im sure Luke will inspire a whole bunch of youngsters to become the new Jedi before the end of the film, leading us on to more and more sequels.
