chaturbate allowing models to link to affilate program

Bump this thread or contact cb if you dont agree with this. Cam models link to chaturbate affiliate so the traffic from my wl is leaking to chaturbate. Or they link to there fan club that also leaks wl traffic. THis is becoming more popular if i join a models room thats popular they normally have some kind of link going to cb.

Something should be done about this. Maybe a filter that strips any chaturbate.com links to the wl url.

Also someone should test and make sure those sales are geting credited to the wl. They said they appreciate the sugestion but whos to say anything will be done. Right now Ive switched to pushing streammate wl.

I would say that a chaturbate affiliate link with a ref url at chaturbate.com probably shouldn't overwrite an existing affiliate cookie. (if that is what's going on) The affiliate links should be for driving traffic into CB.

They have said its not overwritten but it should be tested so many models now are using the links now. Im guessing most of the models arent driving traffic to cb. But you will notice alot of affilate links on model pages. IF they werent earning then they would stop using those links.

But the traffic still is leaked from the whitelabel to cb. And that isnt right that i buy traffic to grow my wl and then the traffic leaks back to them. Thats why i have started buying traffic for streamate wl instead.

Interesting to see what people's opinions are here.

The prolific traffic leaks on CB WLs are as old and well-documented as Sober's love of poo. Nothing new to see here.

Punker has explained numerous times that CB cookies are not overwritten when a surfer clicks one of those links.

While I agree it's confusing for the surfer, and *should* be fixed/filtered as you suggested... I can almost guarantee you that nothing will be done about it. WLs are not their priority.
