Anyone know anything about .m2ts?
I've got some old non-published films that I've had scanned and I've gotten them back in blue ray format.
Problem is I want to do some editing on them and I'm having no luck importing them into premiere. I can import them without a problem into Vegas but all my plugins, etc are in premiere and I prefer not to have to go through all the hassle of setting up Vegas. |
If all else fails, maybe open Vegas and straight export into something you can work with in Premiere.

convert them to something adobe can open

My last two newest cameras shoot in m2ts and the right editing program and drivers make it a breeze to get that quality 4k content crunched down to size :thumbsup

https://www.winxdvd.com/how-to-conve...-converter.htm must be the dvd program. I bet premiere can deal with it, but you need to import it as dvd type. anyway, good luck :thumbsup |
m2ts is mpeg 2 transport stream, its the default container for bluray dvd. My premiere opens then just fine...you prolly just need to install the codec or something...can you play it on the computer you are trying to edit it on if not then you just need the codec if so you may just need to make premiere recognize it...I dont use premiere very much I prefer Vegas,,,does the same stuff but faster and less cumbersome but thats just my 2 cents....if all else fails google it you arent the first to have this issue Im sure ... good luck
