That dumb fuck is named Trump.. He just lost another lawsuit for not paying a contractor. Mr man of the people once again trying to use his name & lawyers to stiff the little guy..

Trump agreed to buy paint supplies from a Miami company called "Paint Spot" for renovations at his National Doral Miami resort. The cost was roughly $200k in supplies..

Trump being Trump attempted to stiff the paint spot out of $32,535.87 because he thought he had paid enough.. They took him to court and won a $300k judgment against Trump. Not giving up Trump appealed and he just lost his appeal and now has to pay the $300k..

Smart businessman, losses an extra $267,5k that he wouldn't of lost, if he wasn't such a cheap fuck..

Props to the little guy for taking him to court..

In the beginning I loved Trump and what he was saying, I'd voted Republican before and I thought for sure Trump would be next because I always liked him on TV , he seemed to know his shit and he was rich so he must be doing something right, then I started checking his history.

His the 1988 federal antitrust case he lost for $750k was the first red flag. Then tons of lawsuits, and property liens, for not paying contractors, hundreds and hundreds. Then the multiple bankruptcies.

It was Trumps irresponsible handling of small contractors & business disputes that turned me off to him before he started getting more widely popular politically. His switch to firey racial populism ( veiled white nationalism ) was affirmation that my decision was sound.

I totally eliminated the debt while eating ice cream and chocolate cake.. People come up to me and say "the Donald you are so great, why couldn't anyone else just tell China we aren't gonna pay".. I mean it was soooo easy to just say, "China talk to my lawyers we aren't gonna pay you" and then it's gone like totally gone in such a bigly way.. No more debt.. people should be thanking me, but they aren't.. Sad.

This is how Trump opperates. He doesn't pay small contractors or short changes them playing the numbers game figuring they can't afford to sue him or won't win aginst his house lawyers..

He has long history of doing this very thing. Then if they do sue him, he drags it out in court for years trying to run them out of money..

Conman and shyster is all he has ever been. I used to be in the construction business and two of my personal friends that had small construction companies were not only put out of business by not being paid for the subcontract work they did but also lost their homes. These were family men with young children. This was done buy a "business" like Trump runs. There is no way of knowing how many lives this man has ruined by not paying his subcontractors. It is my understanding that there are currently several hundred on going law suits against him at this very moment.

My dad's side of my family was always in construction as well. Lots of builders love to slow pay, but at least they would pay..

People like Trump are scum, because he uses his name and money to out right fuck people over. It's not just the contractors he fucks over he fucks over people around his properties as well..

He dragged along the class action suit against him for over 10 years, it was the oldest open case on the San Diego courts books, and right as it was finally going to trial he settles. Delay delay delay the lying scammers way, we've seen it on GFY a million times.

I sincerely doubt that Donald Trump micromanages his shit to the fucking point where he's ordering paint supplies himself :1orglaugh I would be surprised if he actually had anything to do with it personally. His company yes, but I doubt he even heard of the issue.

legal fees are a part of doing business in real estate but that's to get folks out of your homes that refuse to leave...

No he probably doesn't micro manage every aspect but he has at least 3 of his kids working with-in his business micromanaging his projects. Add to that countless employees and "the Donald" sets the rules for how he operates.. This kind shit happens all the time with him so you can bet your ass it's Trump SOP..

It's not that I'm making excuses to like him, I'm just a firm believer of that how no matter how thinly you slice a loaf of bread, there's always two sides to each piece you cut off. We don't know the whole story here, they might have provided shitty paint, or slightly different paint claiming it's more or less the same quality, or they might have ordered too much of it, or who knows. There's a million reasons to not pay them, and at the end of the day a judge is a human being and not everything is "the black letter of the law".

Conflicts do arise in business - for instance right now I have a conflict with a local SEO company I hired to do some stuff on our dental clinic site on a monthly retainer. It's been a year and we've haven't moved on the SEs, so I stopped paying them last month despite having a written contract. If it goes to court - will I win? Hopefully, but who knows. A judge might see me as the asshole stiffing them, or the judge might see them as incompetent to do what they signed a contract to do. One could argue that morally if I've been paying them and they've had as much effect on our SERPs as a rain dance has on the weather, I should stop paying them.
