hmm can't believe this hasn't been posted but with all the dumb politics and spam copy paste news threads, I guess this isn't a porn forum anymore?

The adult industry's trade association has told the porn industry to stop producing adult movies after a porn performer produced a "possible positive test for HIV."

The announcement, which was posted to the Free Speech Coalition website, asserts the unnamed performer "had not worked on an adult set during the window of transmission, and had not participated in any fluid exchange shoots since their last negative test."

Described as a "precautionary production hold," the halt to production would cease industry operations while the FSC determines whether or not the performer had produced a "false positive" test result.

The statement continues:

"Out of an abundance of precaution, we are asking that producers stop filming until we are able to confirm all facts. We will also proactively begin partner notification and retest anyone who might have had contact with the performer since their last clear test.

The Free Speech Coalition periodically calls production holds if there is a possible HIV exposure within the adult film community. Production holds are an important part of the safety protocols in adult film, but does not signal an actual on-set transmission, nor a confirmed positive test."

Don't you have a free HIV treatment in the USA? A HIV-positive person who receives a treatment today literally just can't transmit the virus to his/her sexual partners. HIV not is a big deal now. There are many much worse diseases nowadays...
