Editing thread titles once created possible for amending mistakes..

just noticed, you can change the thread title months later in the actual forum threads area...

It only works on your own threads, but handy if you´ve made an error in the title :thumbsup

Hold CTRL & left click on the thread, holding the button down, it opens the text area to amend the text.

Just a heads up & FYI :2 cents:

just realised, you have to double tap on the left cursor while holding CTRL down.. opens a couple more of your threads, but leaves your title open to amend :thumbsup

I never knew of the short cut like that, but I knew you could edit them if you opened up advanced edit from inside the topic.

ie edit > go advanced

Back in the day it was always blocked, you couldn't edit anything after like 3 mins if I remember correctly.

I get what you´re saying, but the main title would still remain the same, as the editing has only a few hours or so. However, if you click on your link from the threads page, you can change the title even days later.

No real purpose unless a typo, or maybe if it was a repeat thread, you could change the title to "please don´t click, repeat thread" or something :thumbsup

weird situation, but the only thread I can change the title of now is this one, must have been a bug in the system, since I started this thread, Eric must have had it fixed.

I´ve tried others & now it´s not happening...

oh well, now goto make sure there´s no mistakes lol :winkwink:
