Optimizing low text-HTML ratio in adult

Hi guys,

I recently subscribe Semrush to try to get better SE results.
On some points it helps me better targeting my best keywords.

But I'm sill wondering if a "low text-HTML ratio" could lower my rankings.

As I mainly use Theme Forest WP themes, my pages look great but as these theme are full with stuff I don't use, I'm currently creating a theme from scratch.

With the site nearly ready, I'm now realizing despite the fact that I still don't use Yoast, JetPack, WPSuperCache plugins, my source code is still full with things not from my templates but with codes from wp_head() and wp_footer().

So I've got two questions.

1) to the SEO specialist, is it important to get better text-HTML ratio when dealing with adult sites?

2) to the WP specialist, where are located the wp_head and wp_footer functions and what are the lines I could suppress without any affect (eg if I delete wp_footer, my thumbnails disappear).

Thanks for your help.

No, HTML / text ratio is meaningless. As long as Google can read your content that is all that matters.

Nice to read cause just adding Yoast reduce my rate from 7% to 5%.
